True Zero-Touch Provisioning
No IT setup. No DHCP configuration. No user instructions. Just plug in and work.
The Scenario
Your company hires 50 remote employees across 20 states. Each needs a desk phone at their home office. How do you deploy phones without sending IT technicians to 50 homes?
The Old Way (Competitors)
- •Ship phones to corporate office
- •IT unpacks and manually configures each phone
- •IT ships configured phones to homes
- •Employees plug in... phone doesn't work (wrong network)
- •IT support calls: "Navigate to Network Settings..."
- •1-2 hours per phone, 50 support calls
The Vinix Way (Yealink RPS)
- •Provision extensions in Vinix portal (5 minutes for all 50)
- •Ship Yealink phones DIRECTLY to employee homes
- •Employees plug phones into home network
- •Phones contact Yealink RPS → redirect to Vinix
- •Extensions activate automatically
- •Done. Zero support calls.
How Yealink RPS Zero-Touch Works
Phone Powers On
Yealink phone boots, obtains IP from DHCP (standard home router, no special config needed).
Phone Contacts Yealink RPS
Phone connects to redirect.yealink.com (Yealink's global RPS network). Provides MAC address.
RPS Redirects to Vinix
Yealink RPS looks up MAC address, sees it's registered to Vinix, returns provisioning URL: provisioning.vinixglobal.com
Phone Downloads Vinix Config
Phone contacts provisioning.vinixglobal.com, downloads:
- •Extension number and credentials
- •SIP server settings
- •Firmware version (auto-updated if needed)
- •Feature settings (BLF, speed dials, etc.)
Phone Reboots, Ready to Use
Phone applies configuration, reboots, registers extension with Vinix SIP server. Shows "Ready" on screen. Employee can make/receive calls.
Works Anywhere in the World
Employee in Tokyo? Sydney? London? Rural Montana with spotty WiFi? Doesn't matter. As long as they have internet, Yealink RPS finds them, redirects to Vinix, and provisions automatically.
